Leading Lines

This is a leading line. The object of this picture is the railing. It leads your eyes to the tennis courts. Leading lines is a picture where an object starts out on one corner of the photo and leads further into the photo. Its purpose in a photo is to lead the viewer's eyes to another object in the photo. The object is usually in the background while the leading object is in the foreground. In this case, the leading line is the railing. The object it is leading to is the tennis courts.
